Naqsh (Nick) Kochar, Chief Executive Officer

Naqsh is the CEO of Refresh Inc. He began his career in 1997 with KPMG in the area of Information Technology and then in 2000, joined Hitachi Canadian Industries Ltd.  While earning his MBA degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, Naqsh stepped into the role of Chief Information Officer at Hitachi. Deciding to embark on a new challenge, he entered the business strategy/marketing world and founded Refresh Inc. in 2009. Naqsh brings over 14 years of combined international business experience in corporate strategy, marketing and information technology.

Namarta Kochar, Director, Major Projects

Namarta received her education at the University of Saskatchewan in Political Studies & Sociology and brings a multi-faceted skill set to Refresh including policy development, research, project management and Human Resources.  To elevate her skills, Namarta went on to complete an internship as a Sr. Research Analyst in Toronto and participated as a delegate at the 8th World Summit for Young Entrepreneurs, a UN Global Partnership Programme in Brussels, Belgium.  Successfully completing her internship, Namarta began working as a Sr. Policy Analyst and Information Management Coordinator for the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.  Namarta’s talents also extend into serving the community as she has been appointed as a Public Representative for the Drug Advisory Committee of Saskatchewan for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health.  Namarta has also been appointed to the Saskatoon Environmental Advisory Committee for the City of Saskatoon.

Carolina Martinez, Business Strategist

Coming off some major milestones in her life, including completing her MBA degree at the Edwards School of Business in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and also moving to Canada from Panama, Carolina joins the Refresh team as a strategist specializing in finance and economics. To further her achievements, Carolina was a part of the winning team for the I3 Idea Challenge Business Plan Competition put on by the W. Brett Wilson Centre for Entrepreneurial Excellence.

Matthew Stadnyk, Art Director

As a naturally creative and inspirational individual, Matt decided early on in his career that design and visual representation was his forte. Matt enjoys the luxury of providing a different perspective and skillset to a wide variety of industries. Obtaining his diploma in Design and Illustration from Grant McEwan University, Matt takes his creativity to a new level and unconventional scopes. His specialties include print materials and packaging project frames, drawing from his passionate interest in paper engineering.
